Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know I created a new Reddit Community called "Substack Growth Tips" https://www.reddit.com/r/SubstackGrowthTips for users looking to grow their Substack - and thought your posts and/or articles like this would be a great resource listed there!
You can feel free to post links to any of your articles that may help other users grow - and by doing so, you're not only helping everyone else, but you'll definitely benefit as well, as Google picks them up almost instantly, which will help your OWN Substack grow as well.
As of now, it's getting about 100 views a day and growing quickly. The more posts we have there, the more Reddit / Substack users will come - so feel free to spread the word.
Instagram, eh? The Instagram fear always felt overblown to me. Writing takes too long to fake a trend. You can't doomscroll an essay in half a second. Well. You can, but shouldn't. The whole treadmill idea breaks down.
Instagram and Substack is 2 different worlds. Instagram games doesn't work here. I can say that with 117K real IG followers and high engagement ;)
