I love the idea of curating the best from Substack and sharing it forward; glad there are at least three of you doing this, as, left to my own devices, I become overwhelmed with it on my own!
This is exactly the kind of curation Substack needs. Discovery is the real bottleneck, not talent. A thoughtful filter saves time and rewards writers doing meaningful work. Definitely, looking forward to seeing what rises to the surface here.
Thanks for the kind words Alexander. We'll try our best to turn this into something amazing. At least we have a lot of great ideas that will provide lots of value to the readers of Smarter Substack.
Beautiful idea! I am through with seeing all the comments and opinions on growing here. I know I’m growing and rather I’m interested in finding my people in my niche.
Smartersubstack.com is a wonderful idea that promises to help me cut through the noise with a curated collection of the best advice in growing a Substack❣️ I am weary of overly enthusiastic, overwhelming Substacks that hawk every way to monetize one's writing. That is not my interest.
I started my Substack as a health update for relatives and friends during a stem cell transplant for an incurable cancer. I'm just finishing a memoir that looks at the impact of early life trauma on the treatment of critical illness later in life. I've quietly morphed "Loves Heals" at MaryRose23.substack.com into an author's platform where I explore living inside what I have survived. I want to grow through resonance—reader to reader, heart to heart.

Thanks Jeffrey. Our vision is to make it as easy as possible for others and this is the logical next step for us :)
