What I love here is the commercial realism. Paid tiers are not the summit. They are the starting point of a wider value ladder. That aligns with what we see across creator businesses, where diversified revenue consistently outperforms subscription-only models.

Substack is the best thing going for me, along with another opportunity that has been presented to me. Falsebook was just full of people who want to TAKE something from you. SS Is full of people who want to GIVE something to you. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE.

This roundup is gold for dialing in a leveraged Substack strategy in 2026 — especially the $50K/mo breakdown and the Notes playbook.

I'm curious, how do you determine which content to source for your digest?

Philip Hofmacher, Sinem Günel, and Jari Roomer, this is exactly the kind of recap that respects a creator’s most limited resource: attention.

The Top 5 list is curated with real intent. Revenue model ladder, Notes system, daily discipline, content engine, and digital product basics. That is the whole creator ecosystem in five links, without the usual spiral into twenty tabs and regret.

My one nudge: make the reply prompt easier to answer. “What’s working?” is a big question on a Sunday. Give people two or three options to choose from and you will get more signal back.

Overall, this is a strong weekly habit builder. It lets me borrow your filters, then get back to publishing.

Notes do seem to be working. I was skeptical.
